Today's post is all about teacher's day cards and I have used the gorgeous paper pad Ever Yours by Craftreat our inhouse product which is just perfect to express our feeling and appreciation to the teachers. I tried to use minimum supplies and involved my daughter too in making few of the cards for today. I have created 5 cards using the patterned paper. I used a trimmer , Lawn Fawn dies and few thanks dies from different companies.
The paper is the focus of today's post and you will see that even by keeping everything so simple each and every card is special and so elegant.
For this card I trimmed few 1 inch strips of various designs from the paper pad and glued them in a tile formation. I kept a little gap in between the strips and that added more interest to the card front.
I love the gray and maroon shades used in the entire paper pad and that according to me adds so much elegance and beauty. I used Lawn Fawn stitched rectangles die to cut the card front and then matted it on some gray card stock .
I used the scripty thanks die by Altenew to cut a piece of red foil and heat embossed "for all you do" on some black card stock to complete the sentiment.
For this card I used the prettiest patterned paper of the collection and a gray card stock. I used Lawn fawn stitched rectangles and a scalloped border die to add all that pretty detailing. The thanks die is by Simon Says Stamp and sentiment is by Lawn Fawn. For this card I used a dark maroon paper to mat the card front.
This card is super simple and I just trimmed it from the centre and added a piece of gray paper in between . I used foam tape to stick the patterned paper and that gave it a different look. The Thanks die and sentiment is by Lawn Fawn.
For this card I chose the cutest patterned paper with white hearts all over it. I used a Lawn fawn stitched Hillside border die to cut the paper on an angle and added it using foam tape over the white card base. I used the Scripty thanks die by Altenew, sentiment by Lawn Fawn and to finish the card I just added few foiled hearts.
This is my favorite card because its so pretty and girly ;) I used a gorgeous patterned paper from the collection and used a Spellbinders hexagon die to cut few on the pink card stock. I also used the die to cut few hexagons from the PP. I used double sided foam tape to stick the pp hexagons on the pink paper ( die Cut inlay ). Used the Lawn fawn stitched rectangle die to cut the card front and the gray thanks is cut by using Altenew Thanks die.
I hope you liked the these cards I created using the latest Craftreat patterned papers . I love these cards because of the simplicity and tried using minimal craft supplies. I am sure you will try making them and if you do please share with us.
