CrafTreat Layered Stencils - Inspirations by Neha Bhatt

Hi Friends,

I am back with a post with new released stencils. Priya is rocking the releases every month and I am in love with all the new designs and concepts she is coming up with stencils. This one is also very well-thought release.

1. City Scape :

- I first used the detailed portion of the stencil and applied distress oxides, heat emboss with clear powder.
-This will give shiny glass window type look and will also act as a resist when you apply ink over it. --Apply Hickory Smoke and Black Soot inks through solid stencil.
- Use mask vertically to  create shadows of buildings so it will look like individual buildings.
- Use mask to cover inked part and create sky with cracked pistachio and salty ocean inks.
- Splatter some water and lift it up with tissue to create texture and interest in the background.

- Ink the individual building with different inks by using masking tapes.
- Add detail with the same inks
- Cover the buildings using mask cut out and make sky with black soot and blue print sketch distress inks.
- Add dots with white gel pen. Add sentiment and grey glitter washi tape to finish of the card.

-For above card, after creating city scape with black and grey inks, mast the portion and use negative of a circle cutout from copy paer to create sun with orange distress oxide.

-For this one, create front row of buildings first. For tthat i applied faded jeans distress oxide through solid stencil. Allow it to dry.
- Use finger dabber to apply versamark ink through detailed stencil and emboss it in white.
Cover the front with mask
- For the layer in background, flip the solid stencil and apply grey ink to create buildings in the back drop.
- Added the sentiment and few drops of distress glitter to finish it off.

Here I have used different colors for sky.

Next is Bird and nest stencil. I have used the nest and its mask to create this card.

- Apply tea dye  distress ink to just nest part of the stencil through solid stencil .
- mix dark brown ink with embossing paste and apply through detailed stencil.
-allow it to dry
- Cover nest part with mask and use finger dauber to create a halo with green ink around nest.
- Splatter some black paint .

Next is peacock ....

This is one gorgeous two step stencil. I used blue print sketch and pine needle inks for body and peacock feather, mowed lawn, blue print sketch for feathers.
- I also used golden stickler for the center of feather.

Last is a three step stencil...:)

- apply picked raspberry distress oxide through solid stencil, add details using second layer with dusty concord ink.
-allow it to dry
-apply  brown pigment ink through third layer and emboss using utee or clear embossing powder.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing with these stencils. Looking forward to see what you all are creating with them. Thank you for being here.
